Let me introduce you to Lampwork Beads
According to history, the very first man made beads have been made as early as 3000 years BC in Mesopotamia and Egypt. The very first, handwritten manual was found 650BC!
In the following pages you will find all kinds of different shapes and sizes of lampwork beads. All lampwork beads you see on this website are homemade by myself in my studio.
I take great pride in my work (jewellery as well as beads)
and will make sure that you receive only good quality items.
I can guarantee that my beads are clean and properly kiln annealed to ensure
strength and durability.
To avoid accidents, please be aware that these beads are no toys and should
not be given to small children to play with.
In some Eastern countries glass beads are manufactured as mass product, which can be bought
quite cheaplybut be warned as those beads are usually of very poor quality.
They tend to break very easy and in most of the holes there is still some of the bead release left,
which can cause itching, skin rash or worse.
I will make sure that you get only the very best quality from me.
